:: GETTING STARTED ::
How to make a new web using
this web template
-
Go to File/New/Web (2000)
or File/New/Page or Web
(2002).
-
In 2002, you will need to
click "Web Template" in
the right side taskbar.
-
Choose the "Business
Classy Flash" web template,
and specify the location
you want to publish to.
-
Click "OK"
and wait for FrontPage to
create your new web.
How to make a new page
-
Open a page with a layout
that you want to use for
your new page.
-
Go to File > Save As.
-
Enter a new file name (no
spaces or special characters)
and change the Page Title,
then click OK.
-
Switch to Navigation View.
Drag your new page into
the navigation structure
to add it to link bars.
-
You may now edit the page
as desired.
Editing the include pages
The BOTTOM LINKS, BOTTOM
LINKS2, COPYRIGHT, FLASH MOVIE
1 (for fist page), FLASH MOVIE2
(for inside pages), LOGO, NEWS,
TOP SMALL LINK, TOP MAIN LINK
statement are in include pages
for your editing convenience.
By opening

Page Title
The page title is automatically
generated by FrontPage based
on what text you have in the
navigation structure. If you'd
like to change the page title,
simply switch to Navigation
View and change the page title
there. FrontPage will then update
all page titles and link bars
associated with that page.
Adding New Pages to Your Web/Link
bars
Open a page that has the layout
the way you want it, then go
to File/Save As. Save the page
under a new name - be sure to
change the page title as well!
Then, go to Navigation View
and drag your new page into
the navigation structure.
Deleting Pages from Your Web
Right-click on the pages you
wish to delete in your Folder
List, in Folder View, or in
Navigation View, then select
"Delete."
Renaming Pages
If you would like to use an
existing page but want to rename
it, you may easily do this in
Folders View. Right-click on
the file name and/or the page
title and choose "Rename" to
rename your file.
Flash Header
I have included the original
Flash files (.fla), which you
can use to edit the Flash Header
in Flash MX. You can find the
source file in the downloaded
package in the 'fla' folder
with file name 'classytheme.fla'
and 'classytheme2.fla'.
Changing Layout
This is a fixed-width template.
Please do not drag on or move
the table borders.
Right Column
The right column may be used
for news or other information.
If there are some pages where
you don't want a news box, you
may delete them and insert your
own content. These are in includes
pages.
Change colors of fonts, colors
If you want to change colors
of the heading boxes or text,
you may open the .css style
sheet and change the hexadecimal
color codes.
